Mask Playshop©
We’ll each create a mask – an extraordinary and unique masked performance-character – that is a playful, dramatic, and authentic physical expression of your own unique inner vision and imaginative ideation. We will accompany the crafts of mask-making, creative movement, and performance with drumming and the playful exploration of other percussive instruments. Become prepared to transform and enchant an audience, to reveal, and to conceal!!!
Puppet Theatre Workshop
Create an original puppet, collaborate to build puppet-stage scenery, and improvise scenes and sketches with the other puppets. Singing and speaking through a puppet is an alternative, fun, meaningful path to dramatic expression for the outgoing, the outspoken AND the shy. Making use of every aspect of performance and Theatre craft, this workshop includes Hand-Sewing as Meditative Practice and Basic Life Skill.
