The Cortlandt School of Performing Arts Sponsors An Open Mic for Teens at the Yorktown Community Day.
Teens can register here to participate in the TEEN OPEN MIC at the Jefferson Valley Mall Community Day performance stage. The event is on Saturday, June 13 and teens between 13 and 19 will sing mid afternoon (Estimated time 3:00-4:00). The Cortlandt School of Performing Arts will be collecting names of singers that want to perform for the community. A microphone and sound system will be provided. There is no fee to share your talent! Singers should live in Yorktown or the surrounding area, and have solo experience singing in front of an audience. All singers must register to sing and must perform with a karaoke track of their song or live with a guitar. Fun and lively songs are recommended- THIS IS A FAIR! Songs must have "family friendly" lyrics and must be approved by our coordinator, Carol Arrucci.
Tracks must be emailed to Carol@CortArts.com by June 10th and participants must register by calling 914-402-4250 and leaving a message for a return phone call. There will be a limit of 60 minutes of music for the teen open mic.
We are looking forward to Yorktown's most exciting display of local singing talent! TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
This is not a contest and no money or prizes are awarded.
