Jenn Dashnaw is originally from Peekskill NY. She received her BA in Clarinet Performance from SUNY Purchase in 1991. 

Jenn joined the US Air Force in 1995 and served her country as an Airman musician for over 20 years. While in the service, she had the extraordinary and unique opportunity to perform all over the world on clarinet, saxophone, and as a vocalist. She performed in various ensembles such as concert bands, clarinet quartets, jazz bands, country bands, and Dixie bands.

Jenn retired from the Air Force in 2015 and took on a very challenging project - raising two puppies at the same time! She also went back to school, earning her MM in Clarinet Performance from Boston University in 2017. 

Jenn worked as Operations & Personnel Manager for the Cape Symphony from 2016-2020, and also has enjoyed lots of dog-walking and pet-sitting.

After being away for so long, Jenn is very happy to be back home.
