CRYSTAL GLENN -Voice and Beginning Piano (Mohegan and Croton Locations)

Ms. Glenn holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and a Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music, both in Voice Performance. A native of Yonkers, NY, soprano, Crystal Glenn, is sought after for her scintillating stage presence and keen ability to connect with her audiences. Ms. Glenn most recently made her role debut with Taconic Opera’s as Oscar from Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera and Lauretta from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi.  This past summer she performed the roles of Pamina and Despina from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Così fan tutte, respectively, with New York Opera Conservatory.  

Other operatic highlights include: Suor Osmina in Verdi’s Suor Angelica and covering the role of Nella from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi with Martina Arroyo’s Prelude to Performance, Vixen in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen and Rebecca in Nico Muhly’s Two Boys with Manhattan School of Music Contemporary Opera Ensemble, Monica in Menotti’s The Medium, Madame Mao in Adam’s Nixon in China with Westminster Opera Theater, Ilia from Mozart’s Idomeneo and Susanna from Le Nozze di Figaro, with New York Summer Opera Scenes, and Cherubino in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with Manhattan School of Music.

Ms. Glenn has been a recipient of prestigious awards such as Manhattan School of Music Vocal scholarship, first place Westminster Choir College Voice Award in 2011 and second Place in 2013, Five Towns Music & Art Competition, and Harlem Opera Theater Competition.

In recent years, Ms. Glenn has served as a studio artist at New York Opera Conservatory, CoOPERAtive in Princeton, New Jersey, Martina Arroyo's Prelude to Performance, New York Summer Opera Scenes in New York City and Le Chiavi di Bel Canto in Houston, Texas.
