ABBY FERRI - Flute and Beginning Woodwinds

Abby Ferri is a flutist and the band teacher at Washington Irving Intermediate School in Tarrytown, NY. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. While in Ithaca, she learned and taught all woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. Abby performed with the Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra, and the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble including a tour with the Wind Ensemble to Lincoln Center.

Locally, Abby is a regular soloist for the St. Patrick’s Church in Yorktown, and a sub for the Hudson Valley Symphonic Wind Ensemble. When she is not playing flute or teaching, she loves to play indoor and beach volleyball.
