Larry Del Casale - Guitar (Mohegan Lake Location)

Mr. Del Casale is a graduate of the Mannes College of the New School of Music in Manhattan and received a Masters degree in education from the University of New York’s Hunter College. He has NYS Certification in Music (K-12)
and served as a Choral Director/Guitar Instructor/Music Department Leader through his exciting career in public school music education.

In September of 1987 Larry began his teaching career as a Music teacher in
the New York City Public School system (Bd. of Ed.) but his life as a musician began at the age of seven and continues to this day. He is now retired from Public education and devotes his life to performance, recording and teaching.  He brings his wealth of musical knowledge and performing to every single student he teaches, and is equally fluent with all styles of music, from classical to rock.

Larry’s concert and recording career are congruent
with his teaching career. He is a lifelong learner and is proud of his past performances including Carnegie Hall, The Blue Note New York and The Jazz Forum in Tarrytown, N.Y.  His students go on to careers in music as demonstrated by the music scholarships they have won. He believe in excellence in performance through dedication and practice. Another tremendous honor was his Latin Grammy Nomination in 2013. The New York Times and other industry periodicals have praised his performances: “Mr. Del Casale is a solid, musician who performs eloquently.” The New York Times Visit: www.delcasalemusic.com
