JARRETT HOFFMAN - Clarinet (Croton, Mohegan Lake and Pleasantville Locations)

Clarinetist Jarrett Hoffman is a member of the Taconic Opera Orchestra and Orchestra 914 (formerly known as The Chappaqua Orchestra). He has also performed with the West Point Band, and has appeared at venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Barclays Center.He is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music (Master of Music) and Oberlin College & Conservatory (Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Arts).

Jarrett’s teaching philosophy is all about tapping into the personality, creativity, and emotional expressiveness of each individual student, combined with a dedication to the art of problem solving. From young players to senior citizens, and from the many who have achieved All-County, All-State, and top honors in NYSSMA to those whose goal is simply to fill their hearts with music, Ihe is so grateful for the joy they’ve brought him through working with them.

Hoffman's fellowships have included summers spent at Round Top Festival Institute, the Banff Centre, Brevard Music Center, and Atlantic Music Festival. In 2017, he arranged and recorded pop and folk songs to help raise funds for the humanitarian nonprofit Uganda Village Project. His former teachers include Anthony McGill (New York Philharmonic principal clarinet) and Richard Hawkins (Oberlin Conservatory clarinet professor).
