Brian is a performer / composer / actor who has lived in Peekskill for 4 years. His extensive resume includes performing on Broadway as a musician in “Miss Saigon” for 8 seasons, “Sunset Boulevard,” “1776,” “My Fair Lady,” “Radio City Christmas Spectacular” and many others. Brian received his Bachelors in Music Education from UT Austin. As a young flutist, he is the Grand Prize recipient of six national and international concerto competitions, and has been the featured flute soloist with the San Antonio Symphony, Austin Symphony, Houston Symphony and the Philadelphia Orchestra. As an actor he has starred as “Daddy Warbucks” in the musical “Annie” at the Paramount in Peekskill, plus several other productions. Brian’s recording studio SoundPainter is located in the heart of the Peekskill Artists District, and produces original music for recording artists, television and film. His recording, “Chaka Ngwenya and Friends, Music for Orphans Volume One” has received world-wide recognition, as his ongoing collaborations with violinist Daisy Jopling. His workout CD of original music, “SoundPainter Odyssey: Music to Move by” will be followed up soon with Volume Two.
